Privacy
Short version: we count, we don’t track. Updated 22 October 2026.
- No cookies on this site
- No accounts
- No ad trackers
- Anonymous counts only
- What we count
- The website and the game count anonymous events, such as “a page opened”, “Play pressed”, “a mission started” and the game’s frame rate, plus the kind of device and a rough screen size. The game also reports its own crashes so they can be fixed. We use PostHog for this, and the events go straight to PostHog’s servers in the US. No names, no emails, no typed text, and your IP address is not kept. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page views and page speed, without cookies and without following you to other sites.
- The email list
- Only if you type your email into the “Pick the next area” box. It goes to a Google Form, and we keep the address and your answers there (the areas you picked or typed, whether you want to test early, what you play on and roughly where you are), in our own Google account. We use it for one thing: telling you when a new area is ready to play or test. We never share or sell it. Write to us and we delete it at once.
- What we don’t do
- No accounts, no ad trackers, no selling anything about you. The site sets no cookies.
- Saying no
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted at all, on the site or in the game.
- What stays on your computer
- The game saves your progress and settings in your own browser’s storage, along with a random anonymous ID so its counts can tell one visit from many. Music you add to the in-game radio stays in your browser and is never uploaded. Clearing the site’s data in your browser removes all of it. The website itself keeps nothing.
- The live weather
- To match the sky over Koramangala, your browser asks Open-Meteo for the current weather there. It asks about Koramangala, not about you, but like any website Open-Meteo sees the request come in.
- Sending it to your laptop
- The “Send to my laptop” button uses your phone’s own share sheet, or opens WhatsApp with the link typed out. We never see the message or who it goes to.
- Hosting
- The site and the game are served by Cloudflare Pages, which handles each request the way any web host does. The email box is a Google Form, so Google handles what you send there, as it does for any Google Form.
